Disability Discrimination Act Executive Overview Overview This briefing session is designed to provide a concentrated overview of The Disability Discrimination Act, enabling participants as a group to identify key areas requiring action do best implement the DDA in their organisation. Length 1 -- 1.5 hours. Who Should Take This Course Senior management teams (boards of directors, representative bodies, management committees, etc.) who are responsible for strategy and overall operational management within an organisation. Class Size 5 -- 8 people. Learning Objectives After completing this course participants should understand their organisations responsibilities under the DDA, and have identified key areas where work needs to be done to incorporate the requirements into strategic and operational management. Style of Learning The session is flexible so that, depending on the focus required and time available, the appropriate sections of the act can be focused on. Training input and facilitation will form the main structure of the session, combined with an opportunity for the participants to discuss questions and agree specific actions to move these matters forward. |
